HENRIK BUSK

Henrik Busk is an artist and the founder of the alternative art and culture enterprise, Kamuflage. He operates in the underground with a do-it-yourself strategy. He works with photography, video, sound, space, poetry, performance, and concept development. Among other things, he has been the anchorman behind the conceptualization and realization of the interactive art event HalfMachine in Den Grå Hal, Christiania, Copenhagen, 2003. During the last ten years, he has made more than 50 releases of alternative Danish music on the labels Helicopter Records and UKendt grammofon. Has in the same period been an activist in Ungdomshuset and Christiania, Copenhagen. Works as a consultant, teacher, manager, and promoter. Is presently studying at The Jutland Academy of Fine Arts in Aarhus. W: www.bushkiller.com.
 
Contribution: Conceptualizer and organizer of the concert event “Culture in Democracy” on Saturday, October 23, 2004, from 7:30 pm – 3 am in Station 1: The Equestrian Hall, Aarhus, featuring Clemens, Jomi Massage, Lago, Schwanzen Sänger Knaben, Zaki, and very special guests No Name Requested and Universal Soundsystem. Different artists from different cultures will meet and comment on each other's messages before they put The Equestrian Hall on fire.
